Rolex Commodores Cup

The Rolex Commodores’ Cup is taking place on Sunday 25th June to Sunday 2nd of July. The event is organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club in association with the Royal Yacht Squadron and the racing will be based from Cowes.

The programme involves inshore and offshore racing and will prove to be a challenging schedule for any boat.

The Scottish Sailing Institute will be following the performance of the Scottish Team. RYA Scotland drove forward this ambition in 2005 and the outcome of an entry is fantastic with great support and commitment shown by the owners and crew involved.

The selected team is as follows:

Class 1: IMX 45, Exabyte, Owner - David Cullen
Class 2: Mumm 36, Absolutely II, Owners - Kelly, Brammall, Plummer
Class 3: Bavaria Match 38, Salamander XVlll, Owner - John Corson

A detailed list of crews and their home clubs will be provided as soon as available. This will allow you to follow the experiences of your fellow sailors and support their participation in this highly competitive and challenging event.

Andi Robertson will be submitting regular reports on the SSI website so please log on to get the latest news.
